- Hello, Pierluigi. It's great to do this interview. First of all, please, tell me, how it all began for you? How and when did you come into tattooing? What did you do before?

- Hello, Alexander! Everything started when I was 20 years old, in 2001... At the time I didn't have a job and honestly I didn't want one... The tattoo world was fascinating me and staying at the time an underground movement. At the beginning, for me it was not a proper job but anyway it gave to me the chance to earn a bit of money and to be free at the same time...

- So, what possible career did you leave for tattoo?

- Certainly a porn actor career .. an another fascinating world to me :)

- Do you have any special training? I mean the art and tattooing of course :)

- Yes my special training was been tattooing 7/7, any kind of tattoo that was showing up at the shop. When I wasn't tattooing, I was welding needles or cleaning tips… This is the best training for any tattoo apprentice.

- Do you remember your the first customer and your feelings as the tattoo master, when you did the first tattoo?

- At the beginning I tattooed all my friends (a lot of shitty tattoos)... obviously at the beginning I was not confident and I didn't know what I was doing, but I knew that was what I want to do in the future.

- What is the most attractive thing in the tattoo for you?

- The control of pain.

- And what or who is the source of inspiration for you?

- The oriental art and iconography it's always been a big inspirational source to me...

- Ok, tell us about the style of your work.

- I like the tattoo with a strong impact, black work, solid lines, sacred geometry mixed with oriental patterns... I prefer to work on big pieces and follow with the ink to the body flow.

- What’s features makes your tattoo really yours and unique?

- Once when enternet was just an utopia, tattoos were unique and it was difficult to see similar styles of work... Everyone was developing his own style... Now a day, with the advent of followers, the tattoo became the copy of the copy of the copy... Anyway, I always try to differentiate my works based on customer's body and their requests... And mainly to follow my principles without copying any of the artist that inspired me.

- And what does the word «tattoo» mean for you?

- The "tattoo" for me - it's being the chance to travel and to be free.

- In your Instagram written "No sponsorship», why?

- I wrote "no sponsorship" because I'm not interesting in promoting brands, who do not really care about tattoos, but they only care about making money out of it.

- You are doing fantastic big tattoos, so, how can you describe your typical customer? Who are they are? What they are doing in regular life?

- My customers are normal people... someone work... someone else don't... but all of them have the same common idea: To Modify their body. Lucky, cause of the style of my works there is already a "natural selection" of my customers. They comes to me with clear ideas and the awareness that they will have to do more sessions and, of course, that they will have to suffer.

- Do you participate in conventions? Where can we see you in the near future?

- Yes I attended conventions all around the world during the past 15 years... Asia, Usa, Europe... But recently, I got tired about it... let's say it bored me. So I decided to take a brake from it which lasted 3 years. In the nearest future you can find me as always in Berlin, Milan and Sardinia. I will also attend the Florence tattoo convention in Italy, the Taiwan convention in November and The Nepal tatto convention in April.

- Thank you so much, Pierluigi, for this interesting conversation!

- Thank you too.
