Her real name is Asia, but she calls herself Joe. She wanted to become a jeweler, but became a tattoo artist. Please meet - Dzo Lama.
Dzo is a Polish artist from Wroclaw. In her life she creates a unique atmosphere of creativity in all its manifestations. After graduating from the faculty of Fine Arts, she wanted to become a jeweler, then a film director, but the creative flow dragged her in the area of the tattoo. As she says herself: «I chose passion over sense».
Starting tattooing at the age of 17, after only 3 years she decide to create her own studio. The choice fell on an abandoned building at the old railway station, which with the help of incredible efforts of Dzo and her boyfriend Pawel turned into a safe art space for artistic and spiritual growth - Nasza.
In tattoo art, Dzo pays special attention to detail and mood of each image. Her tattoo-works are combination of several techniques and styles: dotwork, watercolor, sketch. Despite the high detail, they retain amazing lightness and some kind of magic. Perhaps this is achieved through the useing of soothing pastel shades, and maybe all of this thanks to the main characters of her tattoos.
Currently, Dzo Lana is actively traveling around Europe in her camper, spreading his art beyond the borders of native Wroclaw. Therefore, if you like the creative search for Dzo - you should watch her movements and maybe you will be lucky and become the proud owner of one of these amazing tattoos.
