Today we want to introduce you to one such artist – Alesya Kupriyanova from Minsk, Belarus. Her journey in the tattoo industry began not so long ago, but she has already managed to attract attention with her creative approach and perseverance.
Despite her young age (22 years old), she has already established herself in the tattoo industry, working in it for 2.5 years. Her path to tattooing was not easy and full of challenges, but thanks to her perseverance and support from her loved ones, Alesya found her calling and became a sought-after artist.
It all started at the end of 2020, when Alesya's parents gave her a tattoo course as a birthday present. The idea belonged to her father, who wanted his daughter to try something new. Alesya had always been passionate about art and drawing, so the offer to learn tattooing was very tempting for her.
However, after completing the courses, her first steps in the tattoo industry were not easy. Her works did not look as she wanted, and finding clients turned out to be a difficult task. After a few months of work, Alesya temporarily left this occupation. Nevertheless, after 1.5 years, with the support of her husband, she picked up the tattoo machine again, deciding to start over.
Now, for Alesya, tattooing is not just a job, but an important part of her life. She approaches each project with care and self-criticism, striving to achieve a high level of craftsmanship. She is inspired by the works of other well-known realistic tattoo artists such as Kristina Taylor, Oxi, Ilya Fominykh, as well as music, paintings, and everything related to art.
Alesya works in various styles, both in color and black-and-gray realism, but, as she says, she is most attracted to working with color. From childhood, she loved to draw faces and strove to convey the realism of the image, which naturally led her to color realism – one of the most challenging styles in tattooing.
Alesya strives to improve and reach the level of the best artists, winning awards at competitions and creating unique works that will be chosen for their individuality and quality.
Alesya Kupriyanova is a bright example of a young artist who is not afraid of difficulties and strives for perfection in her craft. Her journey in the tattoo industry is just beginning, but it is already clear that great opportunities lie ahead of her.
