This is not the first time we have noticed that it is Asian tattooists who most often bring elements of traditional oriental culture to their work and do it so meticulously, getting really interesting and visually attractive combinations in a tattoo.
Korean tattooist Ati uses some semblance of a watercolor technique to create a brush mark effect, which is used in oriental calligraphy. This technique gives tattoos additional dynamics, romance and creates a really strong unusual look allowing you to accurately guess the Asian roots of the work.
Despite the fact that most of Ati's works are done in black and gray, with only some color added, with wide brush strokes, they do not look heavy at all, but, on the contrary, retain the lightness and airiness inherent in oriental painting.
