The French tattoo artist Angelique Grimm , is based in her own studio in the Lille in the north of France.
Angelique Grimm drew from early childhood, however, in itself a path into the tattoo, she paved through the years of apprenticeship and work in quite other areas. She studied until she was 22, she studied English at one of the prestigious faculties. At the graduated of the university, the perspective was to become a teacher, work in tourism or as an interpreter, however, even then she understood that this was not her way. She worked for more than 4 years as a secretary in a hospital in the region and only after that, she came as a student into the tattoo.
In the aftermath, she begins to immerse herself in the world of tattooing, traveling and seeking inspiration in attending various tattoo conventions, overcoming inner stress from the first tattoos and continuing to struggle with herself on her way of becoming a tattoo artist.
After a while, she opens her own tattoo studio in Lille, where she continues to develop and work to this day.
The basis of her work is black and grey realistic images of animals: a variety of breeds of dogs, domestic cats and even tigers - they all come to life in Angelique's finished tattoos.
