I took a masterclass with Dmitry Gorbunov on color realism — and it was exactly the refresh I was missing. At the masterclass, Dmitry broke everything down systematically — from idea to final result. He explained how to think, not just "fill in". Special attention to color theory: color selection, combinations, perception, working with temperature and depth — everything clear, logical and applicable in practice. We covered how to work properly with references, how to build volume, convey textures and manage the viewer's attention in the finished work. And most importantly — no fluff. Only practice, structure and honest feedback. Not just "okay", but why it doesn't work and how to make it work. After this masterclass I gained not just a new level of technique — I gained a system of thinking. Now I understand: realism isn't just about "beautiful", it's also about conscious and precise. Thank you Dmitry for your approach, for your experience and for your respect for the craft.
