Lenz Ink Tattoo Expo 2022

And the date for the Lenz Ink Tattoo Expo 2022 event has been finalised for the 25,26 and 27 November 2022 at the Lenasia Cricket Stadium. Registration for artists and vendors will be opening in a few weeks and will be updated on our website and social media platforms.(redoing website so I’ll let you guys know when it’s live)

Opening hours for visitors:

Friday 25 November 2022:
13:00 -22:00 (exhibitors from 8:00)
Saturday 26 November 2022:
11:00 – 22:00 (exhibitors from 10:00)
Sunday 27 November 2022:
11:00 – 20:00 (exhibitors from 10:00)

Entrance-fee:

Friday 25th is R100 per person
Saturday 26th is R150 per person
Sunday 27th is R100 per person
Weekend pass (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is R250 per person
Bikers day pass is R80 or R150 for a Weekend Pass.

Children until 12 years old have free entrance – parents are responsible for supervision of kids but we’re working on a daycare area.
Please check the shows/program in advance – some are 18+.

Tickets will be sold at the venue or can be booked on Computicket.

Entry wristband must be put on immediately after payment at the venue or once ticket bought from Computicket is presented at the gate.
This will be checked! Without wristband you will be sent away.

The expo hall is suitable for people in a wheelchair, except for the upper floor but arrangements for assistance can be arranged.
Pictures can be taken during the expo for private purposes, however, always ask
permission from the person being photographed.
Nice pictures are always welcome – send them to info@lenztattooexpo.co.za and maybe
you’ll see your pictures featured on our website and social media platforms.

Tattoo Competition:

Every category must have at least 10 participants to proceed. At the competition best of
show, all 3 best-of day’s must be present. The judges will look at the tattoos without knowing
the name of the artist who made it. For this reason, it is very important not to tell the name
of the artist at the registration. The tattoo will be judged for design, artwork, composition,
placement, proportion and originality.
Participating in a category costs R50 per entry
Do you want to get tattooed at the convention?
It’s best to make an appointment with your desired artist beforehand. To contact the artists you can find their website and social media on their profile on the participants page.
Walk-ins are also possible at the convention. Remember, before you get tattooed and don’t forget to eat and drink!

Piercing:

Body piercers will be piercing during the convention and we’ll announce the names in due course.

Not allowed:

You are not allowed to bring animals into the convention venue, to smoke
inside and to eat/drink inside tattoo stands.
There is a separate place to eat and drink, in accordance with the healthcare guidelines for tattoo and piercing.
It is not permitted for visitors to sell/promote/offer ANY product/services at the convention.

Safety:

Each visitor can/may be checked at the entrance for your and our safety.
Glass bottles, weapons, drugs and alcohol are not permitted and will be confiscated! Any incidents will be reported to the SAPS!!

Last but not least –

The Lenz Ink Tattoo Expo is not responsible for appointments made between artists and visitors
and sold/bought products (or any other provided service).
