Dark Trash Realism - that's how the artist Anrijs Straume calls his tattoo style.

For most of his work, he uses portrait photographic images, but changes them, adding some dark, atmospheric elements of horror, the moon on the forehead of the hero of the tattoo, initials, scratches, blood, as well as inscriptions made in his own design, which adds some history for the character.

Anrijs drew from his earliest childhood. Friends and music inspired him to start practicing tattooing. He began to draw logos of metal bands and some illustrations that he saw on the covers of CDs.

Friends started asking him about some sketch ideas for thier future tattoos. That's when he decided to start tattooing. Anrijs has bought a tattoo machine and stuff, tried and immediately loved this way.
