Today we want to introduce you one of these artists - Jay Joree - a talented tattoo artist from Dallas, Texas, USA. And we want to tell you about the special series of Jay's works, which she calls "Faceless".
When you look through this series of tattoo works, you can catch yourself that almost all of those who depicted in faceless tattoos can be recognized even without a face. All of them are famous writers, artists, heroes of films, books, serials, cartoons. Instead of faces they have a pictures, uniquely identified with their unique specific personalities. This is the great skill of the author - the ability to find some main details in the character or in it history of life, which helps to recognaize a person.
In this series of works, Jay Joree also experimenting with a combination of neo traditional and geometry. In these portraits, faces are hidden under various three-dimensional geometric patterns. They look very interesting, and it seems that these works became illustrations for the name "Faceless".
