2018 sees the launch of a brand new event to the UK. The Kent Tattoo Convention promises to be a truly unique spectacle where seeing is believing!
Set in the historic Dreamland vintage theme park, and featuring breath taking stage shows, walk around entertainment, live tattooing from top artists from the UK, Spain and many other countries, tattoo modelling, live art, food, drink, trade stands and much, much more. Is the event seated, can I reserve our place?
Seating is available in certain areas, but cannot be reserved.
Is there an age restriction for this event?
All ages are welcome to attend, however, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18) also holding a valid ticket for the event. Children are very welcome at the Kent Tattoo Convention but must be supervised at all times. The Octopus’s Garden will be open and children’s face painting will be available.
Does everybody need a ticket?
Yes, anyone entering the event will need a valid ticket, regardless of age. Under 14s still need an entry ticket although these are free of charge (one free ticket for every adult ticket purchased)
I am bringing my family – is there a family ticket?
No but children under 14 enter free.
Can I bring my baby? Do they need a ticket?
Babes in arms (under the age of 12 months) will be able to enter the site for free, accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket for the event. You will need to book a free ‘Under 14s’ ticket for any children attending the event.
I am a member – is there an offer available with my membership?
Members have the opportunity to purchase their tickets in advance at a discounted rate. All tickets will be available via the Dreamland website.
Where can I buy tickets for the event?
Tickets are available online via Dreamland’s website. There are many fraudulent ticketing sites. Please ensure that you buy tickets from our official websites. If you have any questions over the validity of a ticket seller, please contact us via the contact page before making your purchase. Tickets may also be available on the door, subject to availability.
What if I buy a ticket and can no longer attend?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds on ticket sales.
Is there a disabled access?
Yes, the venue is fully accessible for disabled people, there is a lift for wheelchair users.
Can I attend the park without going to the event?
The park is closed during this event.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Food and drink cannot be bought into the venue, however there are a number of outlets available to purchase from. Please refer to the full park entry terms & conditions on our website for more information.
Can I book my parking in advance?
Dreamland offer parking for £5 per day at Arlington Car Park on All Saints Road. There are limited spaces available to book in advance from our website.
Where can I change/feed my baby?
There are baby changing areas available in the toilets/welfare areas.
Can I get a tattoo at the show?
Absolutely! Each artist works differently so you will need to get in touch with them individually for availability and a quote. You may need to pre-book before the event or some artists will operate on a walk-up basis. Refer to The Kent Tattoo Convention Facebook Page for artists details.
What age do I need to be to get tattooed?
The minimum legal age to be tattooed in the UK is 18 years old. If you are under 25 and would like to be tattooed, please bring photographic ID with you.
Who is the host of the event?
The event is family-run, by the organisers of Benidorm Tattoo Convention.
Will there be live acts at the show?
Yes, there will be a variety of international live stage shows, walk round performers, bands and artists. Refer to The Kent Tattoo Convention social media for more details.
What time does the event open?
The event opening times are as follows:
- 10am till 8pm Friday 9th November
- 10am till 8pm Saturday 10th November
- 10am till 6pm Sunday 11th November
