Far Australia is home to many outstanding tattoo artists of our time. Kat Abdy is one of follower of the illustrative tattoo trends, such as the Neo-traditional tattoo and New school. Unlike to the established classical concepts of these directions, Kat uses her own, easily recognizable color palette, mainly consisting of earthy, muted colors, in combination with black elements, adding an expressive contrast to the image.
Kat began to professionally engage into tattooing at age 19 in Perth (Australia). Having worked for more than 8 years in Australia, after traveling to Europe in 2014, she decided to move to London and started working at Cloak and Dagger.
In one interview, she said that the tattoo did not just change her life - it created it: "It’s a career that has endless possibilities and you never stop learning from it. It’s constantly moving forward and there’s always room for growth, it’s given me the freedom to explore myself and find what I’m passionate about."
Currently, Kat Abdy is known all over the world, and her works fascinate, both tattoo fans and fellow tattoo artists.
