I am Mert. Much of my work leans toward abstract linework: geometric relationships, overlapping planes, and continuous lines built on precise proportion rather than realism. Getting abstract design right is a matter of precision, consistent line spacing and controlled saturation are what keep a piece legible and sharp years after healing, not just on the day it's finished. It's the same discipline I learned at the drafting table, just translated onto skin.

Started in 2018 as a newcomer in this industry, in 2020, my journey took an exciting turn when my dear friend and talented artist, Sergio, invited me to his studio in Valencia. His trust in my work gave me the confidence to push my artistic boundaries, marking my first international tattooing experience.

In 2022, my engineering career led me from Istanbul to Brussels, bringing my tattooing practice along with it. Thanks to the support of L'Abeille Blanche ASBL, I was able to connect with clients and grow my artistic presence in Brussels.

Over the past eight years, I have performed more than 4,000 tattoos across 4 different countries, each experience shaping my style and deepening my connection to the art form.

Today, I work as an engineer during the week and dedicate my weekends to tattooing in Brussels. My studio is more than just a workspace, it is a meditative sanctuary where I unwind and immerse myself in my art. Every session is a moment of creative flow, and I believe this sense of tranquility reflects in my work.
