He is pretty good, got myself a dragon sleeve and it definitely is quality work and hits from certain angles (like what you see advertised on his profile) but it don’t hit properly from all angles in my personal opinion, no one has told me this, but it’s just how I feel, rememeber that the full tattoo is more than just what you see advertised in the photos, especially the wrap style tattoos. He didn’t really give me a chance to see the full tattoo outline on my arm since he did it piecemeal and so if I had been given the opportunity I perhaps would have gone a different route, but I’m still ultimately pleased with the work to where I don’t sweat it too much. Just be sure to press him on letting you see the full piece and how it will look prior to beginning.

He gets annoyed rather easily, so if you are looking for conversation or banter, he is not the type. On the second to last session, during a break I went to my car to hit my wax pen, he came up to the car door and peered in through the tint and basically had a melt-down and found it super offensive I was smoking weed. He even went so far as to threaten to not finish the piece. I played it cool cause he foreign and must not understand how Californians operate. He eventually finished it, but following this incident even two months later during the last session he was very passive aggressive and just had a sour look in his eye the whole time and treated me like I should not be there.

He likes talking on the phone in Russian for hours at a time so know that too, bring headphones and a charger.


The dragon tattoo itself is cool, but again from most angles it does not hit as hard as it could, the dragon is definitely the main attraction of the piece and really absolutely magnificent. But large swaths of body area are given to work that really feels like an afterthought, so be mindful of this. The animals and characters he draws are beautiful, but some aspects leave much to be desired so it is an odd execution at times.

I get compliments all the time, so perhaps I am just being hypercritical because it is my body. I would just recommend definitely pressing him to show the full outline of the tattoo prior to beginning.
