Marek Pawlik

My name is Marek Pawlik, and I was born in Silesia, Poland, in 1978. From the moment I left school, I knew I wanted to become a tattoo artist. It wasn't just a dream -it was a goal I was determined to achieve.

Back then, there was no YouTube, no online tutorials, and very little information about tattooing. Learning the craft required dedication, persistence, and countless hours of practice. I started by tattooing friends, family, and even myself, learning through experience and a genuine passion for the art.

In 1998, I opened Sauron Tattoo Studio, one of the first professional tattoo studios in my region of Poland. As my career evolved, I began attending international tattoo conventions, where my work quickly gained recognition. Since then, I have been honored with more than 100 awards worldwide for my distinctive tattoo style. While these achievements are incredibly rewarding, I have never stopped learning. I continue to travel extensively, collaborating with talented artists and respected brands, sharing my knowledge while constantly seeking inspiration from others in the industry.

In 2015, I moved to the United States and opened Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery in Midtown Manhattan, New York. During this time, I had the privilege of joining the Pro Teams of Intenze Tattoo Ink and H2Ocean, two of the most recognized and respected brands in the global tattoo industry.

In 2020, we expanded by opening Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery in Los Angeles, California. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I relocated to the West Coast, where I continue to live and create today.

For me, tattooing is far more than a profession. As an artist, studio owner, and mentor, I have dedicated my life to this industry. Tattooing is my passion, my lifestyle, and a constant source of inspiration. Every piece I create is an opportunity to tell a story, connect with people, and continue pushing the boundaries of my craft.
