The Gill Montie Pirate Tattoo Association is an organization that focuses on advocating for the future of the tattoo industry while preserving its history; the official trade show of the Pirate Tattoo Association is simply called “The Ball”.
The Ball is Produced by tattoo industry icon Gill “The Drill” Montie and his business partner Buca The Great.
In 2019 “The Ball” is taking place August 2-4, 2019 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL.
The Artist that starts and completes, during the show, the best pirate themed tattoo will win the inaugural Boo Boo Negrete Award and receive the $25,000 check that comes with the award.
