Locked Up Tattoo Convention 2023

The decommissioned Shrewsbury Prison is to host its first tattoo convention in October 2023, with over 70 artists from all around the UK. The two-day event will challenge our artists in various categories giving them the chance to show off their epic skills to the judges on the main stage.

​On the day, there will be live tattooing all around the prison (including in cells!), craft, food & drink vendors, live entertainment, and a graffiti workshop (subject to availability).

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door on the day – limited availability so doesn’t miss out!

An adult must accompany children at all times.

Accessibility: The vast majority of the site is accessible but there are traditional stairs between the landings which may cause difficulties.
