The Fish Tattoo Convention #1 is set to take place in Hunedoara, Romania from August 8 to August 10, 2025, at WERK Events, located on Strada Voinei 2A. This event marks the inaugural edition of the Fish Tattoo Convention, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a rich program that brings together tattoo artists and enthusiasts in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
Visitors will have the chance to experience a comprehensive tattoo culture gathering including live tattooing sessions, workshops, and competitions. The event promises a unique opportunity for both artists and tattoo lovers to discover new talents, explore diverse styles and techniques, and engage with the creative process firsthand.
The convention will feature renowned tattoo artists from around the world, showcasing their distinctive styles and innovative methods. Attendees can witness live tattoos by some of the best artists in the industry, and also enjoy live painting exhibitions where artists will create artwork in real time.
Complementing the artistic experiences, the event includes live concerts that foster a vibrant and energetic ambiance. Additional entertainment will be provided through stand-up comedy and magic shows, offering attendees moments of relaxation and fun between tattoo sessions and exhibitions.
The convention is open to all ages, with the stipulation that only individuals aged 18 and older can receive permanent tattoos. Minors can participate by opting for temporary tattoos.
The event will run daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, followed by after parties at 10:30 PM featuring tattoo artists and DJ Even Steven. Ticket options include a Day Pass priced at 20 Lei, a Weekend Pass for 50 Lei, and a VIP ticket costing 100 Lei for three days, which provides access to after parties.
Participating tattoo artists include Andrea Avram (Germany), Diana Deac (Romania), Marius Nedelici (Romania), Daniel Elijah (Romania), Eddie (Romania), Marian River (Germany), Long live Beldiman (Germany), Sorin Cacio (UK), Bianca Alexandra (Romania), Denis Gavril (Romania), and Gaby Martzyanu (Germany). Their extensive experience ranges from starting in 2004 to more recent beginnings, reflecting a broad spectrum of expertise and styles.
