Echoes of Ink 2.0 is coming!

From 11 to 13 July 2025, the stunning Archäologisches Freilichtmuseum Oerlinghausen to explore the roots of tattooing.

At this one-of-a-kind convention, tattoo machines are banned, and the focus is on the pure, ancient art of tattooing by hand — just as it was done ages ago.

Meet various international tattoo artists who will showcase historic tattoo designs and techniques. Here, you can experience Prehistoric, Celtic, Nordic, Ornamental and many more styles of tattoos.

But that’s not all!

Wander through a market with traditional crafts, participate in hands-on workshops, listen to ancient music, and enjoy a beautiful location that brings prehistoric and early medieval life to light.
