The 12th Idar-Oberstein Tattoo Convention will take place on September 6 and 7, 2025, at Messe Idar-Oberstein GmbH, located at John-F.-Kennedy-Straße 9, 55743 Idar-Oberstein, Germany. This event has grown to become the largest tattoo convention in Rhineland-Palatinate and draws extensive interest from both national and international tattoo artists and visitors.
Over 180 selected tattoo artists will showcase their art, making it an unmissable event for tattoo enthusiasts. The convention also features piercing artists, tattoo and piercing suppliers, various fashion and trend brands from the tattoo scene, as well as elements of street art. Attendees can explore displays of cars and bikes facilitated by Torreto Barbershop, enjoy street food and lounge areas, and participate in after-show parties.
The venue is accessible for wheelchair users, while pets are not permitted inside for hygiene reasons.
The event schedule is as follows:
- Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Tattoo contests will be held on both days with themes including Black & Grey, Graphic (Mandala, Dotwork, etc.), Neo Traditional on Saturday, and Realistic, Colour, Graphic (Mandala, Dotwork, etc.), Old School on Sunday. The event will also feature the BEST OF SHOW 2025.
