Event Overview
The 4th annual Great Appalachian Tattoo Show is a family-friendly, three-day tattoo event featuring around 80 tattoo artists. It offers activities and contests for attendees of all ages. On Sunday at 3pm, there is a tattoo contest specifically designed for kids, providing temporary tattoos and supplies to help children create their own unique tattoo styles.
On Saturday at 3pm, attendees can participate in the Pin-Up Contest, an event where contestants showcase their style and charisma through a stage presentation followed by a question round to select the winner.
For those with beards, there is a Beard Contest on Saturday at 6pm, where participants with impressive facial hair can compete for the judges' favor.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday, there are additional tattoo contests for those who want to show off their existing tattoos.
For visitors not interested in getting tattooed, the event will feature a variety of vendors offering items such as glass art, psychic readings, tarot cards, oddities, clothing, and jewelry. Food trucks will provide various snacks, and attendees can also visit nearby restaurants like The Tortuga or enjoy nightlife at the Havana nightclub close to the venue.
