Event Overview
The South African International Tattoo Convention is a 3-day event that hosts over 120 of the world’s best tattooers from over 20 countries. This gathering provides a unique opportunity to get tattooed by expert local and international artists specializing in a wide variety of tattoo styles. The convention is a heartfelt tattooer-owned and operated event, gathering an impressive group of artists under one roof each year, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere.
During the weekend, attendees can enjoy local bands, a beer tent, a cocktail bar, and delicious street food provided by the best local food trucks. As the event unfolds, a community spirit thrives, celebrating tattoo art and culture.
After the three days of tattooing, the fun continues with established traditions, including taking the train to swim with African penguins, going for a boat trip in the V&A harbor, and embarking on a 3-day #tattoosafari, visiting some of the best private game lodges in the country to experience the Big 5.
