This is far from my first tattoo, but this sleeve is the most badass project of my life. And the main difference is not even in the design, but in the approach. When I came with the phrase "I don't know what I want", Katyuha wasn't scared, she said: "Awesome, come on tell me everything". We sat on a call for an hour and a half, scrolled through Pinterest and together collected Japanese mythology. She was right there on the call sketching out the composition, explaining how and why it's better to arrange the elements. "What emotion should the cat's face have? What should be the overall vibe of its image?" None of the cool masters I've worked with before cared that much. And then something happened that could have turned the process into a nightmare. I suddenly developed skin problems, the tattoo wasn't healing, the color was fading, everything at once. Later it turned out it was because of insanely low hemoglobin, my skin's immune system dropped to zero. But Katyuha in this situation acted the way only the best masters do. "Let's figure it out now, let's try this, maybe my technique is too rough for you, let me take an additional training course, let's do half a session and then we'll see". She monitored my healing every day after each new part. I could see that she genuinely cared about our shared work, and this reassured me more than any words. And I want to say separately about Katyuha as a person. We saw each other every two months, but each time like with an old friend. Sometimes we sat in our headphones in silence, sometimes we listened to her podcasts together, shared life stuff. She's very attentive, pleasant, easy and comfortable to be around. There were like 8 sessions or so, the project took a little over a year. it could have been faster if not for my hemoglobin and forced breaks for treatment. Katyuha I love you I'm sorry I don't have ten arms to do ten more sleeves 💔

I became familiar with Katya's work long before I decided to book a session with her. And it was a good decision — to come to her with my request. The request was to correct an old beloved tattoo. We discussed several times what exactly and in what colors we would do. Katya clearly explained what changes she wanted to make to our work. No, well that was just terrible! Not only did Katya finish my sketch to the version I liked. And she did everything in one session. And even did a small correction afterwards for free. And most importantly, a rat controlled her the whole time! Just like in Ratatouille. And anyway, she took my passport and makes me only get tattooed at her place... I recommend to everyone )))

I first saw Katya's work on VK, and immediately understood that I wanted a tattoo from her!!! Actually there was no specific idea at first, there were concepts that formed into an idea during our communication. Ekaterina is a very good artist, made a cool tattoo. We chose a rough sketch and then Katya refined it, told me how to properly care for the tattoo, and also sent me care instructions. I really liked that we could discuss how to best adjust the sketch over video call. The work was done neatly, I took a photo at home after about a month.
