ADVERTISING POLICY / 2026Advertising and Sponsored Content Policy
Our Commitment to Transparency
iNKPPL publishes both independent editorial content and commercial content. This policy explains how we distinguish between the two, how we label commercial content, and what standards we apply to the commercial content we accept.
This policy is consistent with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255, revised 2023), which require that material commercial relationships be disclosed clearly and conspicuously to readers.
Types of Commercial Content We Publish
Advertisement — Content entirely created and controlled by a paying third party. iNKPPL has not exercised editorial judgment over the content of an Advertisement beyond verifying that it does not violate applicable law or platform policies. Advertisements are labeled "Advertisement" prominently at the top of the content, along with the name of the advertiser.
Sponsored Content — Content produced by iNKPPL's team under a commercial agreement with a paying partner. The subject matter, topic, or overall framing was determined or materially influenced by the sponsor. Sponsored Content is labeled "Sponsored Content" and identifies the sponsor by name at the top of the page.
Promoted Content — Content that originated as organic editorial content but whose distribution — through paid placement on the homepage, category pages, newsletter, or social channels — was commercially supported by a partner. The content itself remains unmodified. Promoted Content is labeled "Promoted" and identifies the promoting partner.
Affiliate Links — Where iNKPPL includes links to products or services and receives compensation for resulting purchases or actions, those links are identified with the disclosure "This article contains affiliate links. We may receive a commission if you make a purchase through these links." This disclosure appears near the top of the article.
What We Do Not Accept
iNKPPL does not accept commercial content that:
- Makes false or unsubstantiated claims about a product, service, or person
- Targets minors with commercial messaging
- Promotes products or services that are illegal in the jurisdictions where our audience is located
- Requires us to present commercial content as independent editorial content without disclosure
How Disclosures Are Displayed
All disclosure labels are placed before the content they describe, in a font size and contrast ratio that makes them impossible to miss, in every language in which the content appears. Labels are not hidden in footers, minimized in fine print, or obscured by design.
