Realism Trash Polka Tattoo Style

Realism Trash Polka is one of the brightest representatives of the designer tattoo trend, which emerged in the early 21st century thanks to a German couple: Volko Merschky and Simone Pfaff from Würzburg. The encounter of two bright creative personalities could not go unnoticed. After opening their own tattoo studio in 1998 and working in various techniques for some time, the duo of artist-tattooists began searching for a unique style. Using collages of photographs, cutouts, drawings, and newspaper fonts glued onto paper, they were able to create a unique artistic genre - energetic, bold, and sometimes rebellious. Of course, it did not immediately turn into a fashionable movement. It took many years of fruitful work, but now this wave has been picked up by many masters around the world.

The creators of Trash Polka work exclusively in this style at their Buena Vista Tattoo Club studio and in their free time they pursue music. Their musical duo is called Dobbs Dead.
