— Oh, my journey has been quite an adventure! I come from Rajasthan, India—a land of rich culture, art, and heritage. Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity. My grandfather was a celebrated artist, and I spent my childhood watching him bring colors to life on canvas. That’s where my love for art truly began.
I was always drawn to fine arts, and that passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts, where I spent five years honing my skills in realistic drawing and painting. But my artistic journey didn’t stop there. After moving to Mumbai, India, I found myself in the world of visual merchandising, working with some of the biggest brands. I eventually became a country head for major brands, overseeing the creative direction of their window displays and showroom setups. It was exciting, fast-paced, and highly creative, but something still felt missing.
During this time, I also worked on large-scale murals, bringing spaces to life with colors and stories. But despite all these incredible experiences, I realized I wanted to do something more personal—something where my art could directly impact people on a deeper level. That realization set me on the path to tattooing, and later, paramedical micropigmentation. And that’s where my journey took a whole new turn.

I started with traditional tattooing, experimenting with different styles—from realism and intricate fine-line work to Indian mythological tattoos. I loved the artistic freedom that tattooing gave me, but I always felt there was something more meaningful I could do with my skills.
My real breakthrough came when I discovered paramedical tattooing, specifically vitiligo micropigmentation. This opened up a completely new path for me—one where tattooing wasn’t just about art but about restoring confidence and transforming lives.
Now, my portfolio primarily includes camouflaging vitiligo-affected skin on various parts of the body. Over time, my expertise has expanded to include burn scar camouflage, birthmark blending, and surgical scar cover-ups. Each case is unique, requiring a deep understanding of skin tones, pigment behavior, and long-term healing, making this field as challenging as it is rewarding.
I now specialize in vitiligo micropigmentation, which involves camouflaging white patches on the skin using custom-blended pigments. My work covers all areas of the body, including delicate regions like the face, areola, and genitalia. These areas require precision, a deep understanding of skin tones, and advanced techniques to ensure natural-looking, seamless results.
Each case is unique, and I approach every client with care and customization, ensuring the pigments match their natural skin tone perfectly. It’s a highly specialized field, but the immediate, life-changing impact it has on my clients makes it incredibly rewarding. When I first camouflaged a vitiligo patch for a client, I saw something incredible—the instant transformation not just on the skin, but in the way they carried themselves. That moment made me realize this wasn’t just about color matching; it was about restoring identity and self-assurance.
As I delved deeper, I started reading medical books, consulting top dermatologists, and even borrowing textbooks from medical students to understand vitiligo from every possible angle. I traveled to remote villages in India, where vitiligo is still seen as a social taboo, and people—especially women—are sometimes denied marriage out of fear that the condition will be passed down. The more I learned, the more determined I became to make a difference.
Vitiligo micropigmentation is instant, painless, and life-changing. It offers a solution for those who have tried every cream, treatment, and medical procedure with no success. I knew this was my calling—not just to offer a cosmetic solution, but to change perceptions and give people back their confidence.
— Tell us about your first vitiligo tattoo. How did it go? What did you feel at that moment?
— The first time I worked on vitiligo micropigmentation, I had no idea it would completely change the course of my career.
A woman walked into my studio, hesitant yet hopeful. She had a white patch on her leg and asked if I could camouflage it with a skin-toned tattoo. At that time, there was no established method, no guidebook, and very few people in India even knew this was possible. But with my background in fine arts, color theory, and tattooing, I knew I had the skill set to make it work.
I carefully blended pigments, layered the colors, and adjusted my technique as I went, watching how her skin responded. It was a slow, meticulous process, but when we finally finished, I handed her the mirror. She looked at herself, then back at me—and in that moment, I saw pure emotion on her face. It was not just about covering a patch of skin; she was seeing herself without the burden of vitiligo for the first time in years.

Over the years, I have had clients return to my studio with tears of joy. They tell me how my micropigmentation technique has changed their lives, how their decade-old vitiligo, which once held them back, is now no longer a concern. My studio shelves are often filled with wedding invitations from clients whose marriages were delayed or even denied because of vitiligo—until they found a solution with me. Seeing them move forward in life, confident and happy, is what keeps me going every single day.
— Share and show us your most challenging cover-up. What difficulties did you encounter?
— The most challenging vitiligo micropigmentation procedure I’ve ever done was on a client’s eyelids.
Eyelids have exceptionally thin skin, with barely any fat and minimal muscle, making them one of the most delicate areas to work on. The biggest challenge? Needle depth. If the penetration was even slightly too deep, it could injure the eyelid or, worse, the eye itself. But if it was too shallow, the pigment would simply fade away within 15 days of healing.
This wasn’t something that could be done with standard tattoo machines—the margin for error was too small. So, we had to custom-design an entirely new machine. It had to be:
- Super precise li
- Ultra low-vibration (to avoid even the slightest tremor) li
- Digitally calibrated for exact needle depth li
- Even the needles had to be custom-made. We designed a 3RS needle with a non-tapered, blunter tip, made from 316L stainless steel—the highest medical-grade material available. li
After all the engineering, innovation, and precise color blending, we were finally able to complete the procedure successfully, safely, and—most importantly—painlessly. The results were seamless, and seeing my client’s relief and happiness after such a high-risk procedure made all the challenges worth it.
— What should a client know if they want to cover their vitiligo with a tattoo?

— Over the years, my work in vitiligo micropigmentation has gained recognition in various professional circles, both in India and internationally. Dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and industry experts have acknowledged my contribution to the field, especially for pioneering advanced techniques in vitiligo camouflage.
