Tolga Temirlenk is a London-based tattoo artist with over 10 years of experience, currently working at No Regrets Tattoo Studio. His work is easy to recognize: black & grey realism where classical imagery is combined with lines and geometric elements.
In his tattoos, ancient sculptures, mythological narratives, as well as flora and fauna take on a new form. Tolga’s compositions feel thoughtful, balanced, and confident.
His path into tattooing began in childhood. As he recalls, drawing was already a major part of his life at a young age, along with a strong interest in mythology and history. To strengthen his skills and understanding of art, Tolga later pursued formal academic training, which had a significant impact on both his artistic language and technical ability.
“During my university years, I realized that art needed to be at the center of my life rather than just a hobby.”
His current style developed gradually over the course of his career. Through experimenting with different approaches and techniques, and through constant practice, he found a clear direction. Cohesive black & grey compositions built around mythological figures and symbols became the foundation of his work. Over time, he introduced geometric lines and structural elements, making his tattoos more concept-driven.
Today, the combination of classical imagery with modern linear structures makes Tolga’s portfolio both recognizable and relevant.
“At the same time, by understanding human anatomy and body flow more deeply, I refined my designs to fit naturally with the body,” the artist explains.
Working with classical realism and geometry requires precision and control. Tolga pays close attention to smooth gradients, layered depth, and accurate use of light.
“I approach tattooing almost like painting, analyzing how light interacts with form,” he notes.
This is especially evident in large-scale projects, which make up the majority of his portfolio. He carefully plans how each composition will interact with the body, where the focal points will be, and how the tattoo will be perceived as a whole.
“I divide the process into stages: structure → depth → detail. Each stage builds the foundation for the next,” he shares.
Ten years in the industry, combined with a strong academic foundation and a clear artistic direction, position Tolga as an artist with a focused and determined approach. In 2025, his name was heard across several major conventions. At the Big London Tattoo Show, he received 2nd place in the Best of Friday category. At Marmaris Tattoo Fest, he won Best of Saturday and 2nd place in Small Black & Grey. He also received Best of Small Black & Grey at the Winter Tattoo Fest.
Another important milestone in his career was being invited to judge at international conventions. He served as a judge at the Manchester Tea Party Tattoo Convention and has also been invited as a judge for the 2026 Türkiye Art Festival (TAF).
Currently, Tolga works at No Regrets Tattoo Studio in London and is an ambassador for brands such as Killer Ink, Tattoo Spray, Inkeeze, and BigWasp.
Today, Tolga Temirlenk’s work reflects a clear direction and strong internal discipline. His approach to composition, attention to form, and pursuit of precision shape a distinctive visual language in which classical imagery finds a contemporary expression. It is a practice built on consistency and a clear understanding of his path.
We will continue to follow the development of his work, from large-scale projects to new collaborations and international appearances. Even now, it is clear that Tolga is steadily establishing his name within the global tattoo industry, and this stage is only part of a much larger journey.
